ISAP & Miss Namibia 2017

13-07-2017

Suné January, newly crowned Miss Namibia, paid an honorary visit today to the ISAP (Intelligence Support against Poaching) control room at the Ministry of Environment and Tourism. Suné has chosen ISAP as her project of choice during the year of her reign, and has declared her commitment to become involved in public campaigns in bringing about an awareness to the people of this country that poaching is an evil and thus doing irreparable harm not only to the innocent animals caught up in this barbaric act but that it also has a ripple and negative effect to the countries tourism market. Suné will certainly be an ambassador for ISAP as well as various other government departments such as the Ministry of Environment and Tourism and the anti poaching division of NAMPOL, amongst others.

ISAP congratulates and welcomes Miss Namibia onboard in the quest to combat poaching as well as any offenses committed against the environment.
